  121.      Both the Lite and Pro versions allow the import of ASCII word 
  122.      lists up to 30,000 words each (with or without clue definitions),
  123.      but the Pro version adds an enhanced theme puzzle creation feature
  124.      called Special Interest Puzzles (SI). This allows the user to 
  125.      specify certain word positions in a puzzle into which only words
  126.      from the SI dictionaries are to be used. It then backfills the 
  127.      remainder of the grid with the chosen backfill dictionaries.

  129. (2) Pro Version Adds Vocabulary Word List Puzzle Creation

  131.      The Pro version has support for Vocabulary Puzzles with automatic
  132.      construction of "sparse" puzzles using only a special interest 
  133.      word list. This feature is great for school vocabulary lessons 
  134.      and other special topic puzzles in which only the user words are
  135.      shown. It gives a puzzle in which each word only interlocks with
  136.      others in one or two positions, very similar to Cryptic Crosswords.

  138. (3) Pro Version Adds Export of Across Player Format Files

  140.      The Across Player is a powerful way for Web Site Managers to add
  141.      entertainment for their readers via online playing of crosswords.
  142.      The player runs on multiple platforms and acts as a helper 
  143.      application for browsers that support them. This feature allows
  144.      you to use Crossword Express as a site publishing tool for both
  145.      Across file output as well as a normal HTML page.
